Memorial Day weekend was a blast at Balsam Mountain Preserve. I had a great time at the kid’s party Saturday evening. We had 14 kids join us for pizza, bocce, ping pong, pool, checkers, foosball and a movie. I enjoyed meeting Kyle and Tyler Murtha and was so happy to see Chloe and Jack Beacham back for the first time this season! I think the Libby family (Brooke, McKinley and Woods) took home the most prizes from the treasure box and Kathryn McCulloch dominated the checkers board. Fred Horton and his guest Grant couldn’t be beat at ping pong and Leo Horton and his guest Cooper were putting together puzzles using stickers which was really cool. Megan Futrell brought the movie Mall Cop that we all enjoyed watching! Miss Allison was a big help in serving the food and she sure did win a lot of bocce games. Thanks everyone for a great evening! I can’t wait to do it again soon!
